Born 1945 in Jersey City, NJ. Raised in Union City, NJ
Joined the Marines in Sept. 1965 until Sept 1969. Basic training in Parris Island, IRT in Camp Geiger. Assigned to 2nd Anglico in Camp Lejune then went to training as a Radio/Telegraph Radioman(2533) and sent to airborne school at Fort Benning. Reassigned to 5th 155 Gun Battery 8” inch Platoon in 29 Palms CA.
Continued my training including Vietnamese language. Unit shipped to Okiniwa then Vietnam, served in Vietnam - July 67 to Oct 68. Returned to Anglico after my tour in Vietnam. Honorable discharge as a S/Sgt.
Worked in Banking for 42 years. Retired from Bank of America as a SVP in Business banking. Member/paymaster - Membership Chairman of Gooney Bird Detachment #434 - Marine Corps Leagues, Vietnam Veterans Chapter #800 - Treasurer, and VFW Post #809.
